First I was born and a bunch of stuff happened all over the place for about ten years (insert seventies time-lapse). Then: taught at home in a crazy-ass small cabin in Vermont with a party-line and a lot of good and bad magic. Eventually: up in East Harlem with a young actor, raising a radiant family while fighting my demons and starting my own business designing couture Italian plaster finishes which i installed by hook or by crook in NYC/Boston/San Francisco for 15 years. Moved back to Vermont eleven years ago because everybody has to make mistakes and make the best they can with what’s leftover even if it’s too late. The Leftovers have an agenda of their own: Tough. And heart-breakingly beautiful. Forcing me up into the light so hard i thought i might get the bends but instead i get to have my art-heart attacks while listening to Gypsy songs and studying the Mystery as it reveals itself in shower after shower of projection while i walk toward Death.
And go shopping at the co-op.
C’est ma vie.
