Erica Cummings has been working in clay for over 20 years and has been involved with the UVM Pottery Coop since 1999 as a student, studio assistant and instructor. She began incorporating metal into her work after taking a sculptural welding class at UVM in 2002. She received a scholarship to attend Haystack School of Craft in Deer isle, ME for ceramics in 2001 and juried into the Vermont Artist Week at the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, VT in 2003 and 2004 for sculpture. She has shown my work at Frog Hollow in Burlington, the UVM Living and Learning Art Gallery, and had her first solo show at J. Langdon in Montpelier, September 2019. She has also exhibited photography at Yarn and Hunger Mountain Coop in Montpelier.
